McClellanville
McClellanville is located between Charleston and Georgetown on Jeremy Creek, approximately 35 minutes north of Mt. Pleasant. This town, which began in the mid 1800’s as a home to rice planters, has turned into a sleepy little fishing village with a close-knit community. To this day, the economy is based on the fishing industry and celebrated each May, at The Lowcountry Shrimp Festival.
